Pastor Terry L. Blunt is the pastor of Emmanuel Church. He has a heart for lost souls and is committed to developing, encouraging, fostering and rearing up the precious people God has assigned to the kingdom.

Visionary, Anointed, Trailblazer, Father, and Husband, are just some of the words used to describe Pastor Terry L. Blunt. He is the founder and Pastor of Emmanuel Church located in Charlotte, Tennessee.

He met his lovely wife, Lafronda Blunt in Dickson, TN while he was stationed at Fort Campbell Military Base in Clarksville, TN. They were joined as husband and wife on April 17, 1982 at Worley Furnace Missonary Baptist Church. Together they have three children; Terria Blunt, Brandon Blunt and Ariel Blunt. They serve the Lord together as a powerful and anointed team giving God all the glory.

He served 24 years of military service with the United States Army and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1996. Pastor Blunt received his certification in industrial Maintenance in 2003, and machine tooling in 2006 from Tennessee Technology Center in Dickson Tennessee. He graduated with honors at the top of his class. Pastor Blunt has also received an Associate of Arts in Christian Education on June 8, 2013 which includes his certification as a Temperament Counselor, and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education on July 11, 2015 from Heritage International Bible College and Seminary. He has been a Certified Pastoral Counselor since June 7, 2014 and received Licensure as a Pastoral Counselor on August 3, 2015. He also completed a bible course from the Community College of Chicago.

Pastor Blunt received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gave utterance at the age of 12 and he was called into ministry at 25 years old. Throughout his life he was continually thrust in leadership positions. While stationed in Hananu, Germany in 1983, Pastor Blunt served as the Assistant Pastor of Miracle Revival Temple Church. After receiving orders to return to the United States, he was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In 1985 Pastor Blunt was baptized in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was the assistant Pastor at Abundant Life Outreach Center. In 1993 he was stationed in at Fort Hood, Texas and was the associate Pastor at Christ Gospel Church in Killeen, Texas.

On January 2011, Pastor Terry Blunt answered the call to launch Emmanuel Church. The first service was held at the Dickson Housing Authority building on January 2, 2011. God then opened the doors and blessed Emmanuel Church with a fully furnished sanctuary. The first service held in Charlotte, Tennessee was on January 9, 2011.

Showing evidence of the calling and qualifications for the ministry, Pastor Blunt was ordained as a licensed preacher of the gospel and pastor of Emmanuel Church on March 27, 2011 by the laying on of hands, and prayers of consecration by Pastor Seon Thompson of Refuge Temple Church of Flint, Michigan.

Even though he is very accomplished with degrees as proof he remains a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lady Lafronda Blunt

Lady Lafronda Blunt, praise & worship leader, teacher, servant-leader, administrator, wife, and mother, has dedicated her life to cultivating others, so that they may reach their God-given potential in their personal, professional, and spiritual lives.

She is a native of Dickson Tennessee and a graduate of Dickson County High School. She was a nurse assistant for twenty years, and now serves as an Account Executive with Guardian Home Health Care. She travels throughout the Tennessee region marketing and educating physicians about home health for the company. Lady Lafronda Blunt is armed with fire and a charisma of destiny. She is the proud daughter of Sister Lavenia Holt, who instilled in her the values of being a woman of Integrity.

In her developmental years of Christian ministry she served under of the ministry of Worley Furnace Missionary Baptist Church singing in the choir. After graduating high school, she married Master Sargaent Terry Blunt of Clearwater, Florida in 1982. Through the US Army, She was able to travel and meet many wonderful people.

In 1982 Lady Blunt lived in Germany where her husband was the Assistant Pastor of Miracle Revival Temple (M.R.T.). She was the choir director and president of the sisterhood ministry. Giving God the glory, she traveled throughout Europe with the M.R.T. singers. She was the Care Group Leader in which many souls were healed, delivered, and set free.

In Killen, Texas Lafronda was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. It was at this time where she nurtured her passion for God and cultivated her yielded lifestyle which has led to an anointing to exhort and teach the word of God with authority, revelation, and deliverance.

She was the director over the mass choir, praise team and, door knocking team , and she served on the deliverance team. Upon moving back to Dickson, Tennessee with her family, She became the director of the ‘Vessels of the Spirit’’ A powerful ministry where many souls have gotten baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. The ministry was designed to help the total man, woman, boy, and girl.

On January 2011, her husband, Pastor Terry L. Blunt accepted the call of a Pastor and Emmanuel Church was birthed. She serves as the First Lady of Emmanuel Church and minister’s alongside her husband serving in the ministry. As God blesses them, they bless others naturally and spiritually.

Emmanuel Church is a ministry founded on the word of God, biblical principles and prayer. Our utmost goal and desire is to win souls for the kingdom of God. We want to be a place of worship where the word of God is demonstrated to the lost, broken, hurting, sick, confused, depressed, oppressed, and suppress. That there is hop in Jesus and that the love of God surpasses all of our problems. We want to teach, train, equip, and develop the saints in the word of God enabling them to engage in spiritual warfare, conquering and defeating the enemy. We want to inspire the saints to seek and serve God through the baptism in Jesus name and receive the gift of the holy ghost.

Our mission is to introduce the people to Jesus Christ teach, preach and baptize all who will hear the word. To equip them to work in the church and the community serving faithfully in Jesus name.
